INFORMATION ON CYCLONIC STORM:

A cyclonic storm ‘PABUK‘ lies over south China Sea in the morning of today, the 3rd January 2019. It is very
likely to move west-northwestwards and emerge into Andaman Sea around the forenoon of 5th January 2019. It is very
likely to move northwestwards across Andaman Islands on 6th and weaken gradually. Thereafter it is likely to
recurve northeastwards and move towards Myanmar coast and weaken further during 7th & 8th January.

WARNINGS:

Day 3 (05-01-2019): Squally winds speed reaching 40-50 Kmph gusting to 60 Kmph likely over Andaman Sea &
neighbourhood. Sea condition is likely to be rough to very rough over these areas.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Day 4 (06-01-2019): Squally winds speed reaching 40-50 Kmph gusting to 60 Kmph likely over Andaman Sea & &
Andaman islands and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal. Sea condition is likely to be rough to very rough over these
areas. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Day 5 (07-01-2019): Squally winds speed reaching 40-50 Kmph gusting to 60 Kmph likely over Andaman Sea & Andaman
islands and adjoining Southeast and East Central Bay of Bengal. Sea condition is likely to be rough to very rough over
these areas. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
