KSDMA and KILA jointly worked to make climate change information available to local governments for adaption planning and resilience building. The project aimed at facilitating precipitation and temperature change information from CMIP5 CORDEX data for the near term (2021-40), medium term (2041-2060) and long term (2061-2099) to local governments for preparing their Local Action Plans on Climate Change (LAPCC). The project resulted in the preparation of LAPCC of all local self governments of 4 districts, namely Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Idukki.

The project was financially supported by Rebuild Kerala Initiative.
