As the first state to launch training for disabled people in disaster risk reduction in 2016, Kerala has a lead role in strengthening emergency response capabilities of people with disabilities. Training has been imparted to a total of 2667 disable people and/or care givers using Braille, sign language, audio and video materials. The first training on Disability Inclusive DRR was conducted on 11-5-2016. Dates of training programmes and reports may be found below
