ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ സാക്ഷരതാ പരിപാടികളിലൂടെ സമൂഹത്തിൽ ദുരന്ത പ്രതിരോധാവബോധം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനായി സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന ‘സജ്ജം’ പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദുരന്ത ലഘൂകരണ ദിനമായ 2022 ഒക്ടോബര് 13 ന് സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തിൽ വിവിധബോധവൽക്കരണ പരിശീലന പരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ വർഷത്തെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദുരന്ത ലഘൂകരണ ദിനത്തിന്റെ സന്ദേശം ‘മുന്നറിയിപ്പുകളും, മുന്നൊരുക്കങ്ങളും എല്ലാവരിലേക്കും’ എന്നതാണ്.

പരിപാടികളുടെ സംസ്ഥാനതല ഉത്‌ഘാടനം ഒക്ടോബർ 13 വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 09 മണിക്ക് തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ പാണഞ്ചേരി ഗവൺമെന്റ് എൽ പി സ്കൂൾ ഗ്രൗണ്ടിൽ വെച്ച് ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട ഉന്നത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ഡോക്ടർ ആർ ബിന്ദു അവർകളുടെ അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റി വൈസ് ചെയർമാൻ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട റവന്യു വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ കെ. രാജൻ നിർവഹിക്കുന്നു.

ഇതോടൊപ്പം സ്കൂൾ ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ പ്ലാനുകൾ എല്ലാ സ്കൂളുകളിലും നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നതിനായി സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ അതോറിറ്റിയും യൂണിസെഫും സംയുക്തമായി വികസിപ്പിച്ച ‘ഉസ്കൂൾ’ ആപ്പിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം . ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട എം.പി ശ്രീ ടി എൻ പ്രതാപൻ അവർകൾ നിർവഹിക്കും. ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട കൃഷി മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. പി. പ്രസാദ്, യൂണിസെഫ് ഇന്ത്യ സോഷ്യൽ പോളിസി ചീഫ് ഹ്യുൻ ഹീ ബാൻ എന്നിവരെ കൂടാതെ ജനപ്രതിനിധികളും, ഉന്നത ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും, പ്രമുഖരും പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കും. അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദുരന്ത ലഘൂകരണ ദിന പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി പൊതുജനങ്ങൾക്കായി മോക്ഡ്രിൽ , എക്സിബിഷൻ, പ്രത്യേക പരിശീലന പരിപാടികൾ എന്നിവയും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും. അതേ ദിവസം കേരളത്തിലെ എല്ലാ സ്കൂളുകളിലും അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദുരന്ത ലഘൂകരണ ദിന സന്ദേശം വായിക്കപ്പെടും.

അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദുരന്ത ലഘൂകരണ ദിനാചരണ പരിപാടികളിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുവാൻ താങ്കളെ സാദരം ക്ഷണിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു.

KSDMA, as part of its ‘Sajjam’ programme for universalizing disaster risk reduction awareness and creation of resilient homes in the State is celebrating the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) on 13th October 2022 starting 9 am in Panancheri Government LP School, Thrissur jointly with the District Disaster Management Authority, Thrissur. The IDDRR of 2022 will focus on Target G of the Sendai Framework: “Substantially increase the availability of and access to multi-hazard early warning systems and disaster risk information and assessments to people by 2030”. A disaster risk reduction message to mark the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) will be read out in all schools of Kerala on 13th October 2022. All District Disaster Management Authorities in the state will be parallelly organizing IDDRR events in the week starting from 10th October 2022.

The inauguration session will be chaired by Dr. R. Bindhu, Minister for Higher Education and the programme will be inaugurated by the Vice Chairman, KSDMA, Hon’ble Minister for Revenue, Mr. K. Rajan.

Mr. T.N Prathapan, Member of Parliament will be releasing the School Safety App named USchool (Ur Safety at School) developed by KSDMA with the financial support of UNICEF and co-implemented by KITES and CDiT.

Mr. P. Prasad, Minister for Agriculture and Member to KSDMA, other people’s representatives, Chief of Social Policy of UNICEF India, Mrs. Hyun Hee Ban and other senior officials will be attending the inauguration. Chief of Social Policy of UNICEF India, Mrs. Hyun Hee Ban will inaugurate the exhibition to be held in the Panchayath Hall.

There will be a mock drill jointly conducted by National Disaster Response Force, State Fire and Rescue Services, Civil Defence and Kerala Police held in the school ground.

An exhibition of various activities of KSDMA, devices used for monitoring of environmental extremes, disaster rescue and training is arranged jointly by KSDMA, Dept. of Health Services, Fire & Rescue Services and Humane Society International. Training programme will be held for school children from various schools of Thrissur and for the AEOs, DEOs and Block Resource Centre Faculty in school safety.
